    Chimbaj lies at an altitude of 66 meters above sea level. The coldest winter (December to February) was in 1969 with an average temperature of -5.6 °C. In Uzbekistan, it is usual to have about 9.0 degrees more at 3.4 °C for this three-month period. The most precipitation fell in February 1993.
