Established in 1608, 'Puenta de Piedra' or 'The Bridge of Eggs' in Peru connects Lima to Rimac. Instead of mixing mortar with water, the engineers mixed the mortar with 10,000 egg whites from sea bird eggs to allow better viscosity and consistency. The Bridge of Eggs still stands as an example of human ingenuity!
