Cağaloğlu is a neighborhood known for its publishing roots and for being home to the grand 18th-century Cağaloğlu Hamam and the Istanbul Governor's Office. There are also a variety of hotels, cafes and restaurants spread along the bustling streets, while leafy walking trails and a science museum are highlights of the sprawling, adjacent Gülhane Park.
