We ended up really loving our experience at Pu'uhonua o Honaunau NHP and would highly recommend it to Big Island visitors. Really enjoyed learning about this place of refuge. Doesn't take too long to get through, maybe an hour or two, but it's is really neat. There's a nice picnic area you can drive over to as well.
