Seasonable temperatures in the mid to upper 70s today under partly cloud skies. Winds out of the west may be gusty at times up to 25 mph.

The heaviest precipitation over the next 3 days is expected in far northern Maine, where up to 2+ inches is forecast. No flooding concerns at river forecast locations.

[6pm] Some convective showers are doing their best to bubble up this evening, but are "low topped", which means they are only growing to around 18,000ft tall. While the severe weather threat this evening is very low, some downpours are possible if a cell pops up over your area!

Sun breaks out today, but a few isolated showers will be possible across the interior. Otherwise expect dry conditions with highs in the low to mid 80s. A sea-breeze will keep the coastal areas a bit cooler in the mid to upper 70s.
