A 1937 letter by Dwight Dale was discovered during Commission Chamber renovation work. Our finance manager located Dale’s son, Lyman, of Minnesota, framed the letter and sent it with renovation details. Lyman, surprised and grateful, shared the historical find with his family!

Deputies handled three crashes overnight in the county. None of the injuries appeared to be life threatening, and in most cases no one had to be transported from the scene. With the busy holiday weekend, this is a reminder to drive safe and follow all posted speed limits.
