We made it to 100! Not exactly a milestone to celebrate but the latest tornado count for the state of Oklahoma is at 100. This is more than twice the Jan-May average of 41. The 2024 tornado count will grow as we continue to investigate tornadoes from April and May. #okwx

A line of thunderstorms is expected to move across far northwest Oklahoma between 5 am and 7 am. This line has produce wind gusts over 70 mph across southwest Kansas. Unsure if winds will reach 70 mph across northwest Oklahoma, but there is some potential. #okwx

A heat burst just occurred near Erick and Sayre (western Oklahoma). Wind gusts rose to 63 mph and coincided with a 10°F rise in air temperature. #okwx
