    Belfast is probably best known for Belfast Titanic (Titanic museum), street murals, and The Troubles, but there is a lot to do and see in Belfast. It also has a lively historic city center, the famous Titanic Quarter, fun pubs, excellent museums, beautiful gardens, and Victorian architecture.
    Belfast is at the mouth of the River Lagan at the head of Belfast Lough open through the North Channel to the Irish Sea and to the North Atlantic. In the course of the 19th century, the location's estuarine features were re-engineered. With dredging and reclamation, the lough was made to accommodate a deep sea port, and extensive shipyards.
