Periods of sun have returned this afternoon as showers moved out of the area with low pressure passing off the east coast. A chance for an isolated shower is still expected this afternoon. We're a little cooler today in the 70s, but we'll continue to get warmer this weekend.

Showers continue at this hour, appearing greater in coverage closer to the center of low pressure to our north. As this low exits to the east, showers will taper through the morning with only isolated showers and thunderstorms expected this afternoon. radar.weather.gov
