    North Scituate is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Scituate in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 5,077 at the 2010 census. It was formerly known as Gannet Corner. North Scituate is located at 42°12′44″N 70°45′59″W (42.212308, −70.766478).
    The Town of Scituate is located midway between Boston and Plymouth. Scituate was incorporated in 1636 and has always maintained a healthy commercial fishing fleet, while being an active homeport for numerous recreational boats.
    North Scituate was the home of the "Scituate Manufacturing' Company's mills, a National Bank, well-kept livery stores and other establishments". (1) Hope was the stopping point for the Pawtuxet Valley Railroad, and a mill that manufactured cannons used in the Revolutionary War.
    North Scituate has one freshwater pond, Hunter's Pond, which is fed by Bound Brook. Hunter's Pond flows into the saltwater Gulph River via a waterfall at Mordecai Lincoln Road.
