    Jawi' (Jawi: جاوي ) is an Arabic script for writing Tausūg, Malay, Acehnese, Banjarese, Minangkabau, and several other languages in Southeast Asia. A copy of Undang-Undang Melaka ('Laws of Malacca'). The script became prominent with the spread of Islam, supplanting the earlier writing systems.
