    El Reno is located at the interchange of I-40 and U.S. Route 81. At one time, it sat on the boundary between Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory, and sits approximately 20 miles (32 km) west of the old Chisholm Trail.
    El Reno is an historic city that lies at the crossroads of Route 66 and the Chisholm Trail, now known as U.S. Highway 81. Attractions and activities include riding a trolley, antique shopping, dine on one of El Reno's famous onion burgers or visit Fort Reno.
