Cranston is a modest but lovely new tourist spot that is well worth a visit. Visit John L. Curran State Park for peace and solitude - a wooded region with two enormous artificial lakes that offer some of the greatest fishing in the area. Locals and visitors alike go to Park Theatre to see concerts by big-name singers or stand-up shows by comedy greats. The PJ's offer a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach when it comes to comfort cuisine and some of the tastiest wings you'll find anywhere, as well as vertiginously tall burgers. Cranston has that in spades, with a plethora of activities that allow tourists to relax and enjoy life.
