    Bankstown is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales in Sydney's West. It has historically been one of the safest Labor seats in New South Wales. It is currently represented by Jihad Dib, a member of the Labor party, who was previously the member for the abolished seat Lakemba .
    The electorate of Bankstown lies in Sydney's western suburbs and runs from Chullora in the north to the M5 in the south. It includes Greenacre, the Bankstown central business district, Mount Lewis, Punchbowl, Roselands and parts of Wiley Park, Narwee and Riverwood. The electorate covers 24.3 square kilometres. ( Map)
