MANNS CHOICE - This Bedford County town is named after Job Mann, who served as a United States Congressman from 1835-1837 and 1847-1851. In 1848, Mann lobbied for the establishment of a Post Office within the then unnamed village. He was successful in getting a Post Office established here.
