Microsoft is ending support for Windows Mobile on December 10, 2019. That doesn't mean that the phones stop working — it only means they won't be issuing any updates, including security patches. On March 10, 2020, you can no longer access backups stored to the cloud — so you should keep a manually backup prior to this.
