Another day, another threat for severe weather... This time western North TX is under the gun later this afternoon into this evening. Folks along/north of I-20 and west of Hwy 75 need to be paying attention to the weather this evening. All modes of severe weather are possible.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Buffalo TX, Jewett TX and Centerville TX until 12:00 AM CDT

2:26pm - The atmosphere is highly unstable with storms expected to develop in the shaded regions in the next few hours. A special sounding was released recently confirming the highly volatile environment over our area. Storms will be capable of giant hail up to 4" and tornadoes.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for Malakoff TX, Kerens TX and Trinidad TX until 5:30 PM CDT. This storm will contain golf ball sized hail!

After another round of rainfall Friday, Texas should see dry weather Saturday and Sunday, as well as least half of Monday. This should allow river flooding in Texas to slowly improve over the Memorial Day weekend before rain resumes next week. #txflood #txwx
