Yesterday I hosted the The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble in Harrisburg in honor of National Tap Day which was May 25. They held a fantastic tap performance in the East Wing Rotunda and spoke with my fellow legislators about the importance of supporting the arts in Pennsylvania.

On June 5, 1889, Clara Barton & a group of @redcross volunteers opened feeding stations, built shelters & rendered medical care to the survivors of the Johnstown Flood. It was one of the first major #disaster responses for the humanitarian organization. #OnThisDay
