Downtown fire update: The fire is under control and we are ventilating lots of smoke from a large building. We will be on scene with streets closed for some time. One firefighter was taken to the hospital with a minor injury from this incident.

Yesterday, City Council passed Connected Communities. This was the culmination of years of tireless work and I am thankful for all of my colleagues and the incredible City staff who worked on this project. I am excited for the future of the city, and this is a big step forward.
