As a result of a major water main break in the City of Atlanta, water service has been interrupted in a large area of the city. All Fulton County facilities in the downtown area will close this afternoon effective immediately.

BREAKING: The City of Atlanta announced in a press release this morning that repairs have been completed to the water main break in Vine City that left much of the city dry on Friday. A boil water advisory is still in effect.

DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management has set up a bottled water distribution for DeKalb residents affected by City of Atlanta’s water main break. Visit the Human Services Complex, 30 Warren St., Atlanta from 3 to 7 p.m. today.
