[This Evening/s Outlook] Lingering scattered showers in eastern MA will depart by mid-late afternoon. Otherwise...dry weather until after 5-6 pm when a few storms enter western MA/CT with localized strong wind gusts possible. Activity may survive in a weakened form further east.

[1120 AM Radar] Scattered showers late this am, but the steadier/heavier rain was confined to the south coast. This activity should dissipate around mid-afternoon...then we expect mainly dry weather until scattered showers/t-storms enter western MA/CT after 5-6 pm.

[Update] Bulk of the showers this am near the south coast with just brief showers elsewhere. Mainly dry weather this afternoon...but a few strong t-storms may enter western MA/CT after 5-6 pm with gusty winds/heavy rain. Activity may survive in a weakened form as it moves east.

Two rounds of showers with embedded thunder today. The first will be this morning through early afternoon and then after a several hour lull, another round this evening. Thunder more likely with the evening wave.

Dry to northwest, Wet to southeast, more rain in the future.
