Temperatures will cool a few degrees this weekend, returning closer to normal by Sunday. An isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon can not be ruled out. Next week will see heat returning, followed by a slight increase in storm chances. #azwx

The difference within a couple of hours! Smoky morning in Bellemont. We couldn't even see the peaks! Smoke was trapped under an inversion & once the inversion broke, along w/ increasing winds, the smoke lifted & began dissipating. Still smoky but we can see the peaks again! #azwx

Another hot day is expected today, before slight cooling develops over the weekend. It will be particularly hot at elevations below 4000 feet, take precautions if spending time outdoors in these locations. #azwx
