Tues, 5:40 PM Storms just moved through New Braunfels, heading toward Seguin. Bulk of the storminess will miss San Antonio, but I'm monitoring storms near Bandera to see if they track toward SA. Strongest storms are producing 50 mph gusts. DETAILS: www.ksat.com/weather…

Scattered showers and storms are possible today, mainly this afternoon and evening. Some strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, with large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall being the main concerns. Highs will range from near 90 to near 100 degrees.

Gusty winds are running out well ahead of rain cores. This is keeping most of the storm activity just below severe levels. KBAZ winds gusted to 47 mph as the gust front reached the office a few minutes ago.

1:45PM: Storms have developed over the Hill Country and will dive south and eastward over the next couple of hours. Damaging winds are the primary hazard, but some hail and locally heavy rainfall is also possible. #txwx

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain possible through tonight. Thunderstorm outflows from last night and this morning have brought in some slightly milder air for this evening. Tonight's lows will range from the upper 60s to middle 70s.

A line of thunderstorms from Boerne to Leon Valley will continue to move east toward San Antonio this morning. Expect moderate to brief heavy rainfall, gusty winds and occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes during the morning commute. Do not drive into flooded roadways.
