Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Many LA, Coushatta LA and Zwolle LA until 2:00 PM CDT

Howdy Folks! I wanted to take a moment to share something I know we'll see the next day or two. Grounds are so saturated from recent rainfalls, it won't take true "severe" winds to knock trees or powerlines down. We've gotten damage reports today associated with 30 MPH winds.

A few rounds of additional heavy rainfall associated with a series of thunderstorm complexes will maintain a heightened risk of flash flooding today and overnight with another 1-3 inches of rainfall possible.

Temperature minimums will range in the upper 60s/lower 70s tonight under mostly cloudy skies. Another round of thunderstorms will arrive from the north across the Four State region starting after midnight tonight into early Wednesday. #okwx #txwx #arwx #lawx

Flash Flood Warning including Lufkin TX, Nacogdoches TX and Center TX until 4:00 PM CDT

Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for Henderson TX, Lake Cherokee TX and Tatum TX until 12:15 PM CDT

A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire Four-State region through Wednesday afternoon as a few more rounds of heavy rain are possible over the next few days. An additional 1-3 inches of rainfall may occur with the heaviest totals generally along and north of the I-20 corridor.

A Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms is highlighted across much of the region again today through tonight. Damaging winds will be the primary threat with thunderstorm complexes shifting south from the Southern Plains into the Four-State region today and overnight.
