Always find the “let’s come to the defense of the white guy from a mob” a little ridiculous when that particular guy did it to himself. Sure, there are always “better things to do,” just like there is better things to do than playing into white racial grievance

We live in a legal system where POC have the burden of proof when it comes to job discrimination claims. We have to find the white person who declined to hire us & show proof of their racism. But some white guy gets to throw out that implication and expect no one to respond?

Of course, I wish everyone in academia could get a job if they wanted one, but you ain't making sense if you're arguing you can't get a job because you're a white male in US history. White folks, generally, have vastly outnumbered Black and POC folks in US history.
