1230am - It's looking like most of the thunderstorms should stay north of the OK/KS border. That being said, we could still get strong to severe gusts with outflow winds into northern OK (e.g. Buffalo Mesonet reported a 52 mph gust). #okwx #texomawx

1:41 AM- Storms continue to move E just across the border in KS. These storms may build down into far northern OK over the next hr or two. Strong winds without rain/storms are also possible with outflow boundary moving across the area. #okwx #texomaw

1:13 AM - An outflow boundary from storms in KS is moving across parts of NW OK. Wind gusts of 40-50+ will be possible when this boundary moves through a location and could occur w/o any storm occurring at the location. #okwx #texomawx

Satellite loops this morning are showing us several features: 1) Outflow from overnight storms in Kansas, leading to a cooler morning. 2) Lingering areas of small showers/storms in the Texas panhandle. Some lightning strikes are possible in western Oklahoma this morning.

1130pm - Storms approaching the OK / KS border may bring severe winds (up to 60-80mph) to the northern tier of Oklahoma counties as they march eastward. #okwx #texomawx

There is a low chance for severe storms this afternoon and into the overnight hours. Main hazards are damaging wind gusts and large hail. #okwx

Storms currently across the Colorado high plains are expected to move across southwestern and south central Kansas and eventually move into northern Oklahoma this evening. Damaging winds and small hail are the main hazards. #okwx

A weak cold front will stall near or just south of I-40 Sunday and will be the focal point for storm development afternoon and evening. Any stronger storm that does form will be capable of producing large hail and damaging winds. #okwx #txwx

Our hot streak continued this past May: -OKC's mean temp of 71.0 was 2.6 degrees above normal, making it the 9th above-average month out of the last 10. -Wichita Falls' mean temp of 74.1 was 2 degrees above normal, making it the 12th above-average month out of the last 13.

10:15 PM- The Severe Thunderstorm Watch was allowed to expire for northwest Oklahoma. Showers and thunderstorms will remain possible across northwest into north central Oklahoma tonight with the potential for 30 to 50 mph wind gusts. #okwx

Severe storms are expected today from eastern Colorado to western and central Kansas. Large hail (some very large) and severe wind gusts (some 75+ mph) are the primary threats.
