    We came to Beauvais on a whim to see what it has to offer - the answer is not a lot,as it is a very dull and scruffy looking place. The exception is the large, tidy main square and this is fronted by the large and attractive Hotel de Ville which is probably the most impressive building in town after the cathedral.
