High pressure will bring dry weather through the week. Tonight will feature much cooler temperatures for June with lows in the upper 40's to upper 50's. Temperatures will be on the rise this week with highs in the upper 80's to lower 90's by Thursday and Friday.

An upward trend in temperature and humidity is expected this week and into the weekend. High temperatures will reach the upper 80's to near 90 on Thursday and lower to middle 90's by Friday and through the weekend.

We have spectacular weather forecast for the first half of the week, with comfortable temperatures and low humidity. Unfortunately, summertime heat and humid will arrive late in the week and the weekend, with highs in the 90s and heat index values near the century mark.

Drivers across parts of southeast Missouri, far southern Illinois, and parts of western Kentucky should be alert for patchy dense fog through 6 AM, especially in low-lying areas and near lakes and rivers. Be prepared for rapid changes in visibility!

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 8 AM for Calloway, Christian, Todd, and Trigg counties in western Kentucky. Drivers should be alert for dense fog, slow down, and leave plenty of space between your vehicle and others.
