Its sandy beaches include La Mina and Mendieta. The Paracas Candelabra geoglyph, a huge hillside etching of mysterious origins, sits on the Paracas Peninsula. The Museo de Sitio Julio C. Tello displays relics from the ancient Paracas culture.
