6/12/2024 | A damage survey confirmed an EF-1 tornado occurred in Hobe Sound and moved ENE towards Jupiter Island and then out over the Atlantic. It was on the ground for ~1.7 miles, had a max width of ~500 yards, and had peak winds of 85 to 95 mph.

620 AM | Wednesday, Higher shower and lightning storm chances continue. Locally heavy rainfall of 2-4 inches possible for some. Lightning strikes and gusty winds are other storm threats.
