Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is ideal for birders and families alike since it offers excellent possibilities to view animals. The Pepper Creek Trail is a paved, wheelchair-accessible tramway that travels west through hardwood forests and wetlands. Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers and Black-and-white Warblers, among other winter birds, can be seen here. Don't miss the world-famous underwater observatory, where you can see resident West Indian Manatees and numerous fish species swimming in the crystal clear waters.
