De-Animator is loosely based on "Herbert West: Re-Animator", a series of short stories by H.P. Lovecraft. They are like horror fiction comedies, each story ending with a disturbing punch line. This game is a parody of Lovecraftian horror and a homage to Lovecraftian humour. Have yet to beat it this year! Love this game.
