Microsoft officially ended updates for Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC, formerly ActiveSync) with Windows Vista in 2008. WMDC may not work in newer Windows versions, particularly Windows 10 version 1703 (Creators Update) OS Build 15063 or newer, or Windows 11 after Feb 2023, so an alternative is recommended.

Hi, As per the description, I understand that you are unable to install Active Sync on Windows 10. Hope the information helps.
Contribute to the Windows forum! Below is the download link for ActiveSync, however, it is not compatible with Windows to Pro, it is only compatible with Windows 10 Mobile . . . May I ask what you need to do with that app, there is most likely an alternative method . . .
The application won't open and therefore it's impossible to get the sync working. In order to get it running now we need to modify the ActiveSync registry settings. Create a BAT file with the following contents and run it as administrator: Restart the computer and everything should work.
When Windows restarts, open the start menu and type ‘mobile’ which should bring the Mobile Device Center into the search results. Open it, and there you go. You can now begin creating partnerships between your old ActiveSync devices and your modern Windows PC. I talk a lot about data, hobby hacking and old video games.
