Scattered showers and storms are possible today, mainly this afternoon and evening. Some strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, with large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall being the main concerns. Highs will range from near 90 to near 100 degrees.

A line of thunderstorms from Boerne to Leon Valley will continue to move east toward San Antonio this morning. Expect moderate to brief heavy rainfall, gusty winds and occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes during the morning commute. Do not drive into flooded roadways.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue across the Edwards Plateau and western Hill Country this morning. Moderate to heavy rainfall, gusty winds, occasional lightning strikes and small hail will be possible.

Isolated storms are developing this afternoon over the Coastal Plains. These storms could product strong wind gusts of 30-35 mph could be possible with the stronger embedded cells.
